bOpen.ai is the open-source toolkit brand of Open Protocol Labs, Inc. It publishes plugins, portable skills, specialist agents, and hooks for agentic coding tools. Native plugin support covers Claude Code, Codex, and Grok Build. Portable skills follow the open SKILL.md standard, so the same files run in any compatible runtime.
The catalog is free and open source. bOpen curates and hosts it, and publishes its own core tooling from github.com/b-open-io. Community plugins and vendored skills keep their upstream provenance on each catalog entry.
Open Protocol Labs, Inc. is the parent company, founded in 2023. Kurt Wuckert Jr. and Luke Rohenaz, known as Satchmo, co-founded bOpen.ai. Luke is Chief Technology Officer. bOpen.io is the sibling commercial brand under the same parent. The two brands launched as distinct products.
