Bio
Kurt Wuckert Jr. is CEO of Open Protocol Labs and has worked on Bitcoin since 2012. He co-founded GorillaPool, the BSV mining pool, with Root (Michael Boyd) in 2021. He founded Open Protocol Labs in 2023, which publishes the bOpen.ai open-source toolkit.
Since 2020, he has been Chief Bitcoin Historian at CoinGeek and has more than 260 articles to his name. He hosted the CoinGeek Weekly Livestream through December 2025 and hosts Kurt's Podcast on YouTube. He is also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and an advanced coach at RMBJJ Academy. He is based in South Florida.
